Another high profile exit on Tuesday is 21 year BT veteran Andy Green, who is stepping down as CEO of group Strategy and Operations at the UK incumbent.

Green will be leaving BT at the end of the year to become the CEO of IT services specialist LogicaCMG. He will take up his new role on January 1, 2008.

In his 21 year career at BT, Green has overseen the launch of broadband services and the major restructuring and expansion of the Global Services business.

Ben Verwaayen, chief executive of BT, said: “Andy has made a tremendous contribution to BT. He has led a remarkable turnaround in our global business, and helped set the company on its current course of profitable growth.”
