T-Mobile Poland has signed a three-year contract with Swedish kit vendor Ericsson for the development and maintenance of  a billing system.

According to Ericsson, the billing service will provide T-Mobile with a platform to cope with changing business and operational demand. It will also ensure solution life-cycle management, said the vendor.

T-Mobile Poland previously used Ericsson’s BSCS iX billing system, which has now been complemented with a service to develop and maintain business-critical applications cost-efficiently.

“T-Mobile’s billing system is at the heart of its relationships with its subscribers and through our capabilities in services and software we will now handle the day-to-day maintenance and development of the system and applications,”  said Anders Runevad, head of western and central Europe at Ericsson.
