Evolving to 10GPON for unmatched speed

In a bid to provide Saudi subscribers with the ultimate in home internet speeds, Mobily has been upgrading its Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network from GPON to 10GPON technology. This remarkable progress reaffirms Mobily's dedication to enabling cutting-edge connectivity for its customers.

Revolutionizing Transmission with WDM Network

Mobily has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by realizing a transmission distance of 2000 kilometers without the need for electrical regeneration, thanks to its 400G QPSK solution within its Saudi National Fiber Network (SNFN). This innovation enhances network reliability and efficiency while contributing to build Saudi Digital Hub for global and regional hyperscalers. This achievement makes Mobily the first operator in the Middle East to deploy commercial 400G ultra Long-Haul.

Strategic Collaboration overall technologies

In a strategic move to enhance network automation and efficiency, Mobily is actively collaborating with leading telecom vendors to realize network automation including visualization, provisioning, and assuring. One of the key cases is to conduct the seamless integration of IP and optical technologies by leveraging NCE super controller. This dynamic convergence harnesses the unparalleled speed, reliability, and scalability of optical networks, seamlessly fused with the intelligence, flexibility, and widespread compatibility of IP technology. It empowers communication infrastructures to achieve unparalleled levels of data throughput, resilience, and efficiency, laying the foundation for the next generation of high-speed, ultra-reliable digital connectivity on a global scale. At the same time this seamless synergy will drive the operational excellence. While Mobily will keep innovation in network automation to enhance network experience proactively and improve operation efficiency.

Mobily’s network capability of seamless upgrade to 50G PON, ultra long-haul 400G transmission, intelligent and visualization sets the stage for Fixed 5th Generation Advanced (F5G-A) and accelerate the realization of F5G-A.
