UK 3G operator, 3 UK, expanded the reach of its X-Series service on Wednesday, offering its users unlimited internet access for £5 per month.

The tariff gives new and existing customers the chance to experience the X-Series on any of the operator’s most recently launched handsets.

Subscribers can use Windows Live Messenger, eBay, Yahoo Search, email and the web almost to their hearts’ content – a 1GB per month fair usage policy applies.

The premium X-Series services, such as Slingbox, are still only available on a limited number of devices. Confusingly, 3’s UK website shows the Nokia E65 as the only compatible device, yet the international site shows the original launch device – the Nokia N73 – and the new Sony Ericsson W950i as available.
