Hunter Walk: “YouTube has become a global living room”
YouTube is leading to a smarter, more caring world, according to Hunter Walk, Director of product management at YouTube. Today the YouTube community is more than 850 million monthly visitors. It’ll be a billion-person community quite soon. This has resulted in more than 72 hours of video per minute uploaded, and four billion hours of video watched per month. What’s really amazing is that growth hasn’t slowed down – there’s an incredible appetite for video.














With summer supposedly fast approaching, many look to trim some fat and get in shape for the sunny months. Telefonica’s UK arm O2, is one business that is looking to get lean for the holidays, though, and this week it announced that it is to trim 3,500 UK employees.
