Motorola delivers WiMAX to Alltel

Motorola yesterday announced it has been contracted by U.S. operator Alltel to provide its MOTOwi4 canopy wireless broadband solution to help the operator deliver last mile access to the home. The MOTOwi4 portfolio of solutions includes canopy wireless broadband, broadband over powerline, WiFi mesh, high-speed backhaul and WiMAX products.
