Nokia gets Kylie before rest of world
Finnish manufacturer Nokia has scored something of a coup with its newly launched Music Store, bagging the rights to sell the forthcoming Kylie album before it goes on general release.
Described as "the most anticipated album of the year", 'X' by Kylie will be exclusively available to download from the Nokia Music Store on November 21.
The album does not go on general release until November 26.
'X' will be made available for £8 and users can download it straight to their device and PC. Individual tracks cost £0.80 each and Nokia Music Store also offers a monthly subscription service for PC streaming for £8 per month.
Nokia launched its music service earlier this month, striking a deal with Vodafone, although not before the Big V had introduced a rival service in Omnifone's MusicStation.
Omnifone offers unlimited track downloads, straight to the mobile only, for just £1.99 per week.
