O2 Germany has turned to Napster in a bid to drive up its fixed line numbers and is giving away access to the Napster music service with all new subscriptions.

Customers signing up for the DSL service between January and the end of March will receive one year’s access to Napster to Go, valued at Eur179.

Napster to Go is a flat rate, unlimited download, music service with over 5 million songs in its library. Napster also claims to be compatible with any MP3 player.

Napster’s mobile service debuted in Europe with O2 Ireland in December 2006.
