At the LTE World Summit in Amsterdam, telecoms.com caught up with Jonathan A. Morgan, of solutions marketing at Cisco, which recently acquired Starent Networks.

Morgan spoke about the disruptive influence of LTE and how the evolution of packet core technologies can help operators make money off the network. He also makes the interesting point of how the evolved packet core network is actually optimised for any type of access, not just 4G, and can help operators integrate 2G, 3G and 4G and even other wireless technologies like wifi.
