Telefónica this week struck a deal with Evernote to make the information management application available to its global user base

In an example of how operators are leveraging OTT partnerships, Telefónica this week struck a deal with Evernote to make the information management application available to its global user base.

Evernote pitches itself as a repository of ‘memories’ using photos, sketches and lists or text but it is also becoming well known as a project management tool as well as moving into the enterprise with a business offering.

Under the partnership Telefónica users worldwide will get access to Evernote Premium for one year. The partnership kicks off in Brazil through an agreement with Telefónica local mobile brand Vivo.

“With this exclusive service, Vivo can offer customers one more point of differentiation, besides the best quality and most extensive coverage,” said Roberto Piazza, Head of Telefónica Digital Brazil.
