Despite its long history, Heidi Adams, senior director of product marketing in the Core Networks Division, says that the nomination is still extremely important to Alcatel-Lucent. “This award nomination provides positive industry recognition for the role Alcatel-Lucent has played in helping North America’s top MNOs to quickly deploy LTE backhaul [and] serves as an endorsement of our advanced LTE backhaul solutions to operators outside of North America who are currently in the process of planning for LTE.”

XU Ming, vice president of ZTE says that its ZXCTN 6500 represents ZTE long term experience and powerful research capability in LTE research. He says the 6500’s innovations such as 300mm depth, large capacity and L2/L3 bridging will significantly improve LTE service transport efficiency. “This nomination is a great endorsement for the achievement of ZTE in the LTE backhauling area, and will significantly improve the international awareness of the ZXCTN 6500 product,” he said. “ZTE appreciates this chance to share our technical achievement and LTE experience with other operators and vendors.”
